Mission Statement

 While these animals will forever have a scar on their body or in their heart SCAR focuses on giving dogs that were abused, neglected, abandoned, misunderstood and forgotten a chance at love.  

 Our mission at Surviving Cruelty Animal Rescue is to focus on saving dogs that have entered high kill shelters and placed on a euthanasia list without being given a chance. Sadly, most of these dogs will never be seen, nor walk down a showroom at an adoption event but just like you and I, they matter!  

 This is a foster based rescue and we encourage those with experience to volunteer foster and help us educate others while growing our organization saving one dog at a time. We cannot do this without you.
